So bout 8 months of anticipation, scheduling a whole vacation with my dad coming up from Florida. All to see this Ghost concert in South Carolina.
It was an absolute disaster. Heavy rain came in as soon as the opener, Amon amarth, came on. Flooded the stage. Apparently a bunch of Ghost’s equipment got damaged in the rain because the venue had no real cover for the stage. We were evacuated because of lightning. Later told we would be let back in. Hours. Thousands of ppl standing outside this venue.
The venue never announced the show being cancelled, only to keep watching for updates because they were still working to put on the show. Apparently this was never going to happen because Ghost couldn’t perform because of the damaged equipment but the venue didn’t want to cancel.
It wasn’t until cops came and dispersed this huge crowd because of curfew that it was over.
They tried to reschedule to today. But that got cancelled too because of the equipment being ruined in the rain. *Sigh*
I dont get to see Ghost or Papa
